Ku-ring-gai High School's experienced EALD teachers recognise and respond to the challenges faced by EALD learners who require additional learning support to achieve successful school outcomes. After-school classes are available for Year 11 and 12 International students to assist in developing their English language skills and preparing for assessment tasks.
EALD learners are given numerous opportunities to share their diverse knowledge and experiences, making them a valuable asset to our school community. Students regularly engage in International student gatherings, excursions and activities in which they can celebrate both the Australian way of life and share their own culture in our school community.
