The Shoot It Film Competition and Media Showcase is back for 2017!
'Shoot It' is a Ku-ring-gai High School film competition and media showcase encouraging students to tell us a story. Shoot It was first developed by Ku-ring-gai High School in 2004 where it ran until 2010. Shoot It returned in 2013 and 2014. 2017 marks the tenth year of the competition. To enter, students make a film in any style, up to 10 minutes in length, following the 2017 theme....SHINE. Students can interpret the theme metaphorically or literally. The competition is open to all Ku-ring-gai High School students, with great prizes available in the following categories: Best Film, Best Junior, Best Editing, Best Performance Male & Female.
Entries close on November 3rd, 2017 (Week 4, Term 4). Before our showcase extravaganza is held in the Margaret Preston Hall on Thursday, 16th November, 2017. Prizes will be announced at assembly shortly, including great prizes from our sponsors RØDE Microphones and EVENT Cinemas Hornsby.
